International Women’s Tennis Tournament Powiat Poznanski Open 2014

came to an end.

The organization of this project ran for several months

and was very intense.

We would like to thank

all partners, activists, workers and people

who have made so many efforts that the tournament,

despite its debut in the arena of tennis was a success.

This year’s tournament Powiat Poznanski Open is

treated as a common success but also as a priceless experience.

It will help us to carry out further editions even better and more efficiently.

According to Nielsen Audience Measurement finals of the International Women’s Tennis Tournament ITF Pro Circuit Powiat Poznanski Open 2014, in a nationwide band TVP Regional was seen by nearly 600,000 viewers.

The third professional tournament

Powiat Poznanski Open will be the third professional tournament held on the courts of the Sobota Tennis Center. This year, on the grounds of the CTS complex will compete ladies. In years 2011 and 2012 for points to the ATP ranking in the Poz- Bruk Open competition competed men.

Adjusted to be played on just after rain

Participants of the Powiat Poznanski Open will play on the courts of the Sobota Tennis Center that are covered with Conipur Tennis Force surface. This is a tennis surface prepared on the basis of components of Swiss company Conica Technik.

The surface has identical characteristics of playing as on a clay court. In contrast with a traditional clay court the surface is always even and no hollows from shoes get created.

Magda Linette – a 22-year-old Poznan-born Grunwald player is one of the most talented female tennis players in Poland. Last year she made a big jump in the WTA classification by qualifying to the beginning of the 2nd 100 of the ranking.
